1. Get ahead of the wardrobe change to sell what you no longer want for summer 

As we've said, Vinted is one of the best apps on the market where you can sell clothes you no longer want or won't use anymore.

A way to take advantage of trends and make some extra money, is to get ahead of the season change and start gathering everything you won't use in summer, to start selling it in the previous months.

That way, if you do it in time, you'll already have everything posted by the time the rest of the world starts looking for clothes for the next season.😉

2. A picture is worth a thousand words 

As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. If you use quality images, with good resolution and highlighting the important details of each garment, success is guaranteed. And, on top of that, you'll save a lot of time when having to answer questions about specific details.

Try to make sure the images of your products are taken during the day, without using flash and from different angles.

3. But be careful! Descriptions sell too 

There is no doubt that images are important for selling on Vinted, but descriptions are too. The more details you can give about the garment, the better, whether it has been used, how long you've had it, etc.

Also, if you use tags, your product will have more strength in the search engine, ranking more clearly and even among the first purchase options, although other factors also come into play here.

4. And the cash, go for a competitive price 

As is often the case in marketplaces and apps of this kind, price matters. Although when buying, other factors are also valued, such as the reliability of the seller (with reviews from other users), price will continue to be one of the main points that determine success or failure. 

When setting the price, you can search for the same product or similar ones to get an idea of the current price range. Based on that, you can decide whether to set a price at the average, or a little below it to increase the chances that people will at least click on your product.

Here you can also play with what are known as psychological prices, setting prices that end in 7, 9 or ,99. A little trick? Check the price of similar products and judge according to how eager you are to get rid of that garment.

5. Pack it perfectly 

If you've already made the sale, congratulations! The next step will be to package the product properly, to make sure that nothing happens to it during the shipping process and that it arrives in perfect condition to the recipient.

For this, you can use bubble wrap, protective plastic, cardboard inside, and you could even reuse boxes you have at home that are in good condition.

6. Take care with labeling

The label on the package is like its ID card. It is what allows the courier company to identify that package throughout the whole process, from the moment it is sent until the recipient picks it up.

Make sure the label is well attached on the outside of the package, and you can also add some protection over it.
