How do I send a package in a Locker?

If you are in the process of sending a package, you have two options:

Shipping with label: Print and attach the label to your package, then go to one of our Lockers and follow the instructions on the screen.

Shipping without label: Take your package directly to one of our Lockers and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the shipment without needing a label. We take care of everything. If you choose this option, it is advisable to write the order number on the outside of the package.

Please note that the maximum size allowed in a Locker cannot exceed 60x40x30 cm or 20 kg. The locker of the selected size will open and you insert the package into it. The package must fit without forcing the locker; please do not try to push it in, as both the package and the locker could be damaged.

Do you supply the packaging and labels?

We do not supply packaging materials. You can print the labels on white paper and stick them on the package or place them in a label holder. The label format is A4.

We now have a service that lets you send your parcels without printing labels. If you prefer to print the labels yourself, you can do so on regular white paper, which you can stick onto your package or put in a label holder.

What goods are prohibited?

All goods covered by national, European, and international regulations on dangerous goods are prohibited (hazardous substances classified under the ADR agreement, Goods By Road, classes 1 to 9), including, without limitation, explosives, ammunition, gases, flammable, radioactive, toxic, or corrosive materials, and all items which, by their nature or packaging, may pose a danger to the human environment, the safety of means of transport, the environment, vehicles, or may damage other transported packages.

The shipment of goods that may soil, items contrary to labor legislation, and/or goods that, due to their nature or packaging, may injure InPost employees or damage InPost equipment is prohibited.

At the international level, in addition to the items covered by the aforementioned restrictions, shipments that require InPost to obtain a special license or transport, import, or export authorization cannot be accepted.

How do I package my parcel correctly?

You must use a closed package that is sufficiently large and sturdy to protect the contents of the parcel. The packaging and the protection of the items must comply with transport requirements, industrial handling, and good packaging practices.

If the packaging is larger than the item it contains, we recommend filling the gaps with crumpled paper or bubble wrap to keep the item in place and prevent it from moving during transport.

Can I put two or more packages in the same Locker mailbox?

No. When dropping off a package in a Locker, each package must have its own unique label and be placed in separate compartments to avoid it being lost.

What shipping receipt will I be given when I drop off my package at a Punto Pack?

When you go to drop off your shipment at one of our Punto Pack locations, the merchant will scan the barcode on your package label and shortly after you will receive an admission test email, with a direct link to track the shipment.

How should I pack and label a suitcase to send it with InPost?

The suitcase alone is not considered suitable outer packaging for transport.

If the customer decides to use the suitcase as the only packaging element, they shall assume full responsibility for any external damage that may occur during transport, including scratches, scuffs, dents, breakage or deterioration of wheels, handles, zippers or other protruding elements.

To ensure suitcases arrive in perfect condition, we expressly recommend using transparent film or some shrink-wrap protective material that fully covers the surface of the suitcase, especially reinforcing the most exposed areas.

Likewise, it is mandatory to correctly place the shipping label provided by InPost in a visible place and firmly affixed. We also recommend including a complementary label with the sender’s contact details (full name, phone number, and email address). The customer must ensure that both labels are firmly attached and cannot come off during transport.
