How to collect your parcel at an InPost Punto Pack or Locker

Mar 3, 2026

Collecting your parcel with InPost is easy and quick. Even so, questions sometimes arise: you can’t find the PIN or QR, someone else has to pick up your parcel, you don’t know the collection deadline, or the Locker has problems. We’ll tell you what to do in each case, step by step.

What to do depending on your case

  1. How to collect from a Locker: have your PIN or QR ready (it will arrive by email, SMS, or in the InPost App) and follow the steps on the screen to open the Locker.
  2. How to collect from a Punto Pack: go to the local shop with your PIN or QR. And just in case, bring your ID card/NIE, as they sometimes ask for it.
  3. What to do if I don’t have the PIN or QR: first check SMS, email (spam folder), and notifications in the App. If it still doesn’t appear, you should fill out our form so we can help you recover it.
  4. Parcel collection deadline: in the “ready for collection” message, the collection deadline is usually included. The deadline may vary depending on the destination. Here is the table with detailed information according to the destination.
  5. Pickup by another person: send them the PIN or QR and tell them the exact InPost point. If it’s a Punto Pack, they may ask for authorization for delivery to a third party.
  6. Locker closed or not working: if you can’t complete the collection, fill out our form and tell us what happened (Locker location and shipment number).

How to collect your parcel from a Locker

The Locker lets you pick up your order without queues or waiting, whenever you want. We’ll send you the PIN or QR when it’s ready for collection and, when you arrive, you just need to enter the PIN or scan the QR on the screen to open the compartment where you’ll find your parcel.

Step by step

  1. When you receive the “ready for collection” message, save the PIN or QR in case you have poor signal when you’re right in front of the Locker.
  2. Go to the Locker indicated in the message or in the App. It will usually be the same one chosen when the shipment was made. If it’s not a 24/7 Locker, check the opening hours for it.
  3. On the screen, enter the PIN or scan the QR and follow the instructions.
  4. The Locker will open: take out your parcel and close it. Done.

How to collect your parcel from a Punto Pack

When you receive the “ready for collection” message, go to the Punto Pack. You’ll be helped at the counter and handed the parcel in person.

Step by step

  1. Check the Punto Pack opening hours.
  2. Have your PIN or QR ready, which arrives by email, SMS, or in the App.
  3. At the counter, provide the PIN or QR and, if asked, your ID card/NIE.
  4. Pick up the parcel and check that it’s yours by reviewing the label before leaving.

What to do if I don’t have the PIN or QR

If you can’t find the PIN or QR, it’s usually in the collection message or in the App. After a couple of checks, it usually appears.

Quick checklist

  1. Look for the SMS or email with the collection message. Check spam or Promotions too. If you have the App, check it (if the shipment is linked).
  2. Make sure you’re checking the same email address or phone number you used for the purchase, or the one linked to the shipment.
  3. If it doesn’t appear, fill out our form and provide: shipment or tracking number
  4. recipient name
  5. pickup point

Parcel collection deadline

When your parcel is ready, we’ll notify you with a “ready for collection” message. There you’ll see the deadline to collect it. Keep in mind that the deadline depends on the destination: for domestic shipments, the parcel is usually available for 8 calendar days, both in Locker and Punto Pack.

Quick checklist

  1. As soon as you receive the “ready for collection” message, find the deadline. If needed, you can check the usual deadlines in this table.
  2. Don’t leave it until the last day. Try to pick it up with some time to spare, and if you think you won’t make it in time, consider having someone else collect it for you.

Pickup by another person

If you can’t go to pick up your parcel before the collection deadline expires, someone else can go. To avoid extra trips, it’s best for that person to have everything ready, especially if the pickup is at a Punto Pack.

Quick steps

  1. Share the PIN or QR with that person; ideally, send a screenshot directly from the message or the App, without cropping.
  2. Confirm the exact point, whether it’s a Locker or Punto Pack, and if it’s a Punto Pack, the opening hours.
  3. If the pickup is at a Punto Pack, they may ask for authorization for delivery to a third party. In that case, they will need to bring: Original or copy of the ID number of the shipment holder
  4. Original ID number of the authorized person
  5. Authorization for delivery to a third party with: name and ID number of both people, shipment number, and the holder’s signature

Locker closed or not working

Sometimes the Locker may be closed or not work as it should. We’ll tell you what to do in each case.

Locker closed

This can happen if the Locker is inside a place with opening hours, for example, a shopping center, or due to a temporary incident.

  1. Try going during the opening hours of the place where the Locker is located.
  2. If your shipment appears as available, but you can’t access the Locker to take it out, fill out our form and tell us about your case.

Locker not working

If the screen doesn’t respond or you can’t complete the collection:

  1. Note the time and location of the Locker and have the shipment number ready.
  2. Fill out our form and tell us what’s happening so we can indicate the next step.

When to contact support

Contact support if:

  • The shipment appears as available at the point, but you can’t collect it by following the process.
  • You see an incident, for example, redirection or return, and you’re not sure what the next step is.
